Xinhua news agency, Wuhan, May 3 (reporter Tan Yuanbin) the reporter learned from CSIC 712 Institute on May 2 that the project of "Engineering Technology Research on ship integrated electric propulsion system" undertaken by the Institute recently passed the acceptance of the Ministry of industry and information technology, marking that China has two series of marine propulsion converters, propulsion motors and intelligent control modules with independent intellectual property rights, i.e. low voltage and medium voltage Supply capacity of core equipment of electric propulsion system such as block. Among them, the core products, such as propulsion frequency converter and propulsion motor, have been recognized by China Classification Society in the form of serialized products, filling the gap in this field in China.
According to Li Bo, the project leader, the relevant research results of the project have been applied to more than 30 ship sets in scientific research ship, dredger, crane ship, wind power installation ship, cable laying ship, marine engineering ship, luxury cruise ship, official ship and other ship types.
According to the introduction, in order to further improve the independent innovation ability of high-end equipment of China's ships and marine engineering and improve the technical level of China's marine electric propulsion system, CSIC 712 is currently carrying out technical research and product development of zero emission clean energy ship electric propulsion system, including all lithium battery electric power system, hydrogen fuel cell electric power system, etc.
